Email transcript From: Nathan Aston Date 2 June 2013 6.44pm Subject: Burnside Lacrosse Club – Vale Scott Gower It’s with great sadness that I inform you all that Scott “Hoover” Gower, sadly passed away yesterday (1st June 2013) after a long battle with Leukaemia at the QEH. Scott was 41 years old. Scott started playing Lacrosse late in life at 18. He played 175 games (including 76 League games) mainly as a face-off player between 1990 and 2004, scoring 40 career goals. Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott’s wife Kathy, along with Scott’s parents, Claire and Wayne, brothers Todd and Corey along with their families.
